No more power cord wrap

Have made a cradle to carry one of the Tracer batteries supplied by FLO.

Fixed it into the top Polar scope hole of my AZ EQ6-GT mount, and shortened the cable to suit.

Will be looking next at mounting the handset onto this cradle, but need to sort out some method of

tidying the cable, up out of the way.

Any thoughts on how to keep this cable raised, but still of usable length, would be appreciated.

Cable ties, or stick on cable hooks (like the one supplied with the mount for the handset cable ) would do the job. You can get both at Maplins.

Thank you for the reply, and I am now looking at Mark 2 for this bracket, which will also hold the Synscan handset and will post a picture when done.

I realise these brackets are only practical for visual in  AZ mode, and with the smaller type Tracer batteries, but once I am finished

I will be able to observe , without thinking about cables, and always have the Synscan handset in front of me......
