AE filter wheel

Is there any reason why I couldn't use the AE observers' filter wheel for imaging? Or any advantage of using an imagers' wheel over an observers' one?

As far as I can see I can just use a t-1.25" adaptor and slide it into the eyepiece holder instead of screwing it on, and the only disadvantage I see is it "might" not be quite as sturdy...

Any views on this? I want a filter wheel for observing and imaging and the AE one seems to be the lowest profile and pretty good.

The imaging wheel can support the weight of the heavier cameras. I don't image but I still bought the imaging wheel because it can take more weight and is better engineered than the observing version.
