Someone in the "know" says they've never seen a 2.5x 1.25" powermate like mine.... Has anyone else ever seen one similar? This is a picture of it unscrewed at the black-silver junction.

Here is a picture of mine, bought a few months ago, maybe you have a different older model? there are clearly some differences. It is a TV PM 2.5x.

I used to have one just like that about 5 years ago. I believe the design has changed slightly over the life of the product.
