Taken with the QHY5L-IIM through the Explorer 200, 2x barlow and IR-pass filter.

18 smaller sections stitched together, and processed in PS with Astra Image's plugin for deconvolution filter.

I've been thinking if getting a QHY5L-II fir my 200p. I was considering the colour camera. I know I would be better off with the mono for RGB filters later on if i wish. But funds prevent me from investing yet. I guess for mono imaging the QHY5L-II colour would be no different to the mono version as saturation can be lowered?

Thanks. It was a bit of work, so I'm glad you like it.

As far as i know the mono camera have a different sensor with, as far as i know, a higher sensetivity - but if that makes any difference in lunar imaging converted to mono i don't know.

If you intend to use filters or use it for deep sky later i recommend the mono though.
