Astrozap baader solar filters

For about three months now my scope has been languishing in a cupboard collecting dust so I was thinking of maybe investing in the above product.For about £50 is this product worth it?I know it won,t be anything like a bespoke solar scope but what can I expect to see using mine and in what detail.I have to do something to get the scope out of the house.All help much appreciated thx

If you're not DIY inclined they're worth every penny , but you can just buy a sheet of Baader ND5.0 Solar film and make your own filter , plenty of videos on YT for instructions.

The view you'll get will be akin to this that I shot yesterday ....

If you can, get a Baader solar continuum filter as well - it will enhance the surface granulation.  It will make the sun very green though!
