Metaguide + DMK Camera on Win 8.1

Hi

Is anyone using the above setup - specifically:

Metaguide 5.1.3

DMK 21AU04.AS

Windows 8.1

USB 3.0

I am having problems getting the camera to connect (works fine via ICCapture, PHD Guide etc).  I tried the frame rate trick mentioned elsewhere on this forum but it didn't seem to work (assuming I did it correctly).

When I launch metaguide and select the DMK camera - all I get is a blank grey screen where the image should appear.  All the metaguide buttons etc seem fine.  If I connect to my laptops inbuilt webcam - metaguide displays an image just fine - so I don't think the problem is with metaguide per-se (i.e. corrupt install).

Can anyone help?
