  1. Continuing from above - I ended up designing my own screw in eye cups using FreeCAD. They can be downloaded using the link below (i'm still tweaking the design - so may be subject to change, but from my trial prints - it screw fit is pretty good). https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6490064
  2. I have just bought a couple of TC-E2s (waiting for them to be delivered) and I have 3d printed the frame. The eye cups in the OP look interesting and i'd love to try them - did you ever share them back to Thingiverse?
  3. I got a Daystar Quark Chromosphere earlier in the year and have tried some imaging using my DMK camera which has a 1.25" nosepiece, however the combination of the long focal length of the Quark plus the narrow FOV of the camera means I can only image very small portions of the sun's disk. I have been looking at the 0.5x focal reducer that Daystar do, however I notice it has a t-mount thread rather than a 1.25" or 2" eyepiece coupler. Does anyone have one of these to advise how this would work with a camera like a DMK. I assume i'd need a T-mount to 1.25" adapter, but would this cause any issues as it would further lengthen the distance from the Quark to the camera. Thanks
  4. I have done this mod on my old Toucam Pro and it still works under Windows 8 64-bit.
