I got a Daystar Quark Chromosphere earlier in the year and have tried some imaging using my DMK camera which has a 1.25" nosepiece, however the combination of the long focal length of the Quark plus the narrow FOV of the camera means I can only image very small portions of the sun's disk.
I have been looking at the 0.5x focal reducer that Daystar do, however I notice it has a t-mount thread rather than a 1.25" or 2" eyepiece coupler.
Does anyone have one of these to advise how this would work with a camera like a DMK.
I assume i'd need a T-mount to 1.25" adapter, but would this cause any issues as it would further lengthen the distance from the Quark to the camera.
Thanks
