Best eyepiece camera?

Hi all,

Just wondering what you all think the best eyepiece camera is at sub £160?

I have seen a celestron at £160, AST optics at £60 and £90 etc.

I have tried my iphone and it works but is fiddley.

Can these eyepiece cameras be used with stacking and such?

Explain what you mean by "eyepiece camera" You mean an adaptor to hold your phone or a small point and shoot camera up to the eyepiece of the telescope?

Sorry not up on the correct terms yet! I mean the cameras you can insert where the eyepiece is. Like the qhy5l and such. I have seen cheapish ones on ebay as well as the Philips modded webcams. Celestron do the neximage, but lot of money?

ZWO new for sure in that price range. I have found some no name cams on ebay for under 200 dollars now. They look like an Orion starshoot with a 1.25 fitting.

Avoid cheap no-name "digital eyepieces" and alike Pick only good brands with good images and software support. Among the cheap ones ASI034MC should be a good pick.

Depends if it's $300 in USA or Europe It can be ASI camera,  or some Point Grey Blackfly cameras could fit that price.
