Logitech S55000 Webcam

I have an old Logitech S55000 Webcam that I would like to adapt for use on my telescope.

However, I cannot any find any screws to open up the camera to remove the lens.

Short of breaking the outer covers can anyone advise me on how to remove the casing.

any chance you could pop up a picture of the camera,

this way we get a good idea of how to go about cracking it to a astro cam.

Sorry for the delay. Photograph next to useless.

In the end I managed to prise apart the two sides and loosen the lens shroud. After a bit of pulling I was able to remove the shroud which then made it easy to remove the lens hood.

Having removed the lens I fitted a webcam adapter. Now all I need is a break in the weather to test it properly.
