Best filters for viewing Jupiter?

Can anyone help me choose the most useful filter for viewing Jupiter. When I have viewed Jupiter recently through my new 6" Mak the clarity is not that good and although I can make out the main equatorial belts being brownish in colour they are not that sharp. Seeing was reasonably good but not perfect (when is it ever!).

I was thinking maybe a filter would help.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Baader Neodymium works very well on Jupiter, Mars and the Moon.
