Anyone got a SW Espirit 120 or 150 ???

If so what's your thoughts on it please? I would like a large aperture, quality refractor. I do like the look of the TEC 140 but other then importing from the USA and all the kerfuffle with customs and import duty that involves, they are rarer than hens teeth.

They both get good write ups I see on FLO but I'd rather trust the opinions of you guys. Just weighing the options!

Not interested in the used TEC in Sweden?

Tim's results from the Esprit 150 are convincing.

I think Telescope Service would supply you with a TEC140 painlessly enough. Or a 180!!!!

I don't fancy messing about with importing a used scope from Sweden Olly, not at that price point and without seeing it first.  TS is a potential option that I am considering.  Been waiting for a used one to come up in Blighty, but I think I may be in for a long wait.  They are so good that no one sells them!

Guess there are enough people with big wallets lining up, buying these scopes that they keep them in stock.

Relatively speaking the TEC is not expensive. It takes on more expensive scopes, certainly. There are not many in the UK though. Mine came frm there but I was lucky.

The best part of six grand for a brand new one,just for the OTA, is bit rich for me though, despite my enthusiasm!
