Ganymede phase?

Seems like everyone was out on the 9th for the double shadow transit

and have seen some great images on this site.

Here is my effort from that evening with my 8" sct.

Watching the live view Ganymede seemed to have an oval shape

so i thought my collimation was off but after processing all seems ok.

Looks like Ganymede is showing a slight phase?

Is this possible?
