Rowe corrector

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm a constant tinkerer, and a friend has recently killed their 450Dwhich is the same model camera I have now, I've thinking about debayering the sensor on that and trying mono with filters for imaging.

With that in mind I would be looking to add a filter wheel to my rig.  I use Newts so I use a MPCC which means distance between that and the sensor is fixed at 55mm.  Has anyone tried the Rowe correctors which would give me the space to add a filter wheel, and if so have they been OK.  I currently have about 20mm of back focus left and wondered if that would leave me enough if I put the Rowe inside the focuser tube.  I have read mixed reviews so just wanted to get peoples thoughts.

Cheers

Ross
