With the demise of the "corner (tool) shop" in favour of "DIY stores", and without transport, I find difficulty in (easily) obtaining "raw materials" for my projects. But I have just received (promptly etc.) some Aluminium Sheet from:

http://www.ukaluminium.co.uk

Looks like they have a sibling company in:

http://www.ukplastics.co.uk/

No links with the above, but (the former anyway) worked well for me! :D
