Off axis position

Recommended Posts

The Celestron OAG comes with 5 Adapters 2 X 42mm male and female, 2 X 48mm Male and Female and a single SCT that fits on the scope side there is a Moonlite SCT to 2" extender that will screw into the OAG and have a 2" extention to that would go into a Crayford Focuser just be a case of sorting out the right type of Focuser....

Hi James

Yes they do make a 2" to SCT male thread adapter. I use one on my SE8 after the crayford. I then attach the 6.3 reducer and then the Celestron OAG onto the reducer. When I purchased mine FLO were out of stock, they may have them in now, I think they were about £22.00. I ended up getting one from Bern at MA as FLO were out when I enquired.

Regards

John
