Advice needed for Fast Mac 90mm Lens/Scope Donated to club

I need some advice, please help.

Last night a C90 Spotting Scope/Lens was donated to my astronomy club (CNC). MAK 500mm f5.6.

It is a nice FAST small scope. We already have some nice DOBs for visual observing.

I was wondering what it would take/cost to outfit this with an Equatorial motorised or computerised mount to have an astrophotography scope for the club.

Members already have SLR's, webcam eyepieces and an old CCD.

But we only have dobs and Alt/As mounts.

Something that small might be OK on a camera tripod with a diy barn door tracker?

500mm is not that short (my 80mm F/6 is close to that). I think you might want a sturdier solution than a barn-door tracker
