SN2014J still showing well!

Managed a break in the clouds tonight and tried SN2014J again, clearly visible in the guide ccd. Not much change with the Sodium line(s)

Each curve is a stack of 5 or 6  5min shots.

Hi Steve,

The Na D line is a good test of your repeatability  as they are from interstellar material and will remain constant. The EW should not change (and should be ~ independent of resolution) and the FWHM stay the same for your spectrograph

Thanks Robin, my first supernova and surprised how clear it is, do you know what the expectant 'visible' life of these type of SN's is please?. I guess I'll keep checking it until it disappears.
