Stargazing near Ramsgate

Hi, I have just joined this site and am looking for advice on joking a group of friendly people who are into Astronomy, in the Ramsgate area.

I will also welcome advice on what equipment would be best for me on a limited budget of under £300. I intend to use my cameras for astrophotography, so am primarily interested in advice on telescopes and accessories.

Hi, and thanks a lot for the link. I will take a closer look. I have also discovered that there is a Thanet Astronomy Group that seems to meet every Saturday at Westgate, which is near me.
