Barlow need quick answer

I need a barlow. Aldi have a nat geo dob for 40 quid it had a barlow plus a 20 mm and a 10mm. At home i have 25 and 6.3mm with my orion 150mm reflector. Is it worth buying this dob just for the lenses?

Personally - I wouldn't buy a telescope from a grocery store - and Nat Geo is a brand I wouldn't touch. If you have a 150mm scope I would recommend researching better quality eyepieces/barlows to suit from a proper astronomy retailer like FLO. The one's you're looking at will be at best equal to what you already have, at worst much poorer. Waste of £40 imho.

Ok. Thanks. i was only considering purchase because it would be 2 lenses and a barlow for 40 quid but having looked in the box the lens casings appear to be plastic so i reigned myself in. I will probably pay a visit to stockport telescope shop in the new year for a barlow. Thanks for the swift replies.

By the way, quick reply no longer needed, i was in Aldi at the time, i am at home now after deciding against buying the scope.

This is surprisingly well regarded around the inter web http://www.firstlightoptics.com/skywatcher-eyepieces/skywatcher-deluxe-2x-barlow.html and at £30 you can't go wrong. It doubles as a T mount extender too. It's usually free with most SW scopes.

I've found it quite usable anyway!
