A very noisy M42 with a DSLR

Hi,

I took this a couple of weeks ago after a whole day of rain hoping to capture the M42 and the surronding nebulasity. The image turned out to be anything but what I had in mind even though the sensor temp was relatively low @ about 11C. The moisture left in the air did the damage even though the modded 1000d was @ ISO400. I struggled to get anything out of the stack for a couple of weeks and this is the best that my feable processing skills can manage with PI. Still I thought that it made a change from my CCD imaging. It is a stack of 11X300s, Bias, Flats and 7 darks. The Trap is blown out as I have not manged to process the 15s subs that I took but I may add them later. Processed in PI and a bit of tweak in PS.
