Here's the result of my first attempt at imaging Jupiter

60 secs with a 2x ed barlow on my OpticstarAG130m Guidecam through the 200PDS

Processed in Registax 6 (something else to learn !) and tarted up a bit with CS6

post-15851-0-81133100-1387135663_thumb.p

This was a just a bit of a trial run to see what the guidecam could possibly achieve, it's nothing special but for a quickie I'm really pleased with the outcome.
I'll be properly armed the next clear night, bahtinov mask at the ready !!!

Thanks Lee

Cool. Great clarity on the bands. Very rewarding to get a first image this clear.

Not sure why the edges are so rough, but someone clever will be along to advise i'm sure.

Great start and look forward to seeing what you next produce.

James
