Celestron Sky Sync

Hey guys I came across this gadget (sky sync) the other day and just wondered if it was worth getting. Apparently it is meant to help make your alignment more accurate.

Has anyone used it.... Any good????

I have a Celestron mount that could use the Sky Sync GPS gadget.   But, I have not bought it, because it takes me less than 30 secs to key in my actual Long/Lat manually and as far as accuracy goes, if your input is within a few miles of your actual position, its close enough!   Not needed, imho.

It's almost scary that you can strap something on the front of your telescope and have it take a picture of the sky and know where exactly you are. Big Brother is watching...... Lol!
