A shot of Orion taken from my garden on the 26th November with a Cannon 1100D from a static tripod . 100x 4 sec exposures, F4, ISO400. Stacked in DSS, processed in PS CS4.

Not the greatest but getting better.

Unfortunately i can barely see it in my iphone; i'll look later on the computer, but the framing looks good with Aldebaren too right and the Hyades.

What lens did you use and at what focal length? There doesn't seem to be overt light pollution so you must live somewhere nice.

Is there star trailing? If so, why didn't you just leave the shutter open for longer for each frame? Say 10-20 seconds?

Itms good to see this widefield stuff, i really like it.

Good images but I prefer without spikes in this case.

Very, very nice! I prefer the non spiked version. Reminds me to kick myself in the butt and bring the DSLR out on a tripod to try more widefield work soon.
