Four stacked and combined images of the Moon in a mosaic

Hi everyone - first pop at making a Moon mosaic - I wanted to see the surface at the terminator. Any thoughts?

Good detail, but clear bands showing the borders. Which software did you use? I have Autostitch, which deals with borders very well on solar mosaics.

Hi Michael - Registax 6 for the stacking then Photoshop CS3 for a bit more touching up and then aligning of each piece. Yes the bands are obvious...is Autostitch a freebie?

Yes it is free. Microsoft ICE is also free, and can give good results on the moon
