Looking for Ison.

Last time I checked it was around Jupiter/mars sort of area, has anything changed??? Also can it be seen through a set of binos?? My garden faces south/south east so I'm hoping I can view it from the comfort of my kitchen with the door open and the kettle constantly on the boil

It has moved a lot, and I last spotted it near Porrima (gamma Virginis). It is moving rapidly in the sky, as comets do. Have you checked out Lovejoy? Much higher up, above the body of Leo, and much easier.

I just read your signature and I am impressed, do you live In a light polluted area? or a good area?

My back garden faces south, and is quite dark. I can easily take my scope to dark areas, and the C8 travels with me on holidays in Europe. I also take my big bins all over the world, which helps a lot on upping the observing tally.
