I ran the connection from the motor down to the ED over an RJ11 cable, hopefully the locking tab on the connector will be enough. There is a pair of cables free so (not in this design) i intend to run back in the other direction over the RJ11 with an LED off the easy board.

I think as well i am going to place a power switch on the electronics box so i can turn it all off
