Canon 60d Ir removal

Over the past few months i've been wanting to remove the IR glass from over the sensor on my camera, i've scoured the net trying to find a tutorial for the 60d but found none so i had to go at it and try to work around the different layout. The reason i have wanted to do this mod is that how much better the sensor can pick up light from the nebulae and DSO objects, hoping for a nice clear night now to give it a go and see the outcome.

I chose to leave the area where the IR filter would of been open as some do and some chose to place another transparent glass piece back in.
