Possible stupid question

So im on DSS and stacked the bios but forgot they were from last week so went to stack and lo and behold it wouldnt , is this because the bios from last week had a different setting ? ISO ect .

Also when ever i take my light photos the stars all seem to be round blobs of colour can i change this in any way ?
