Maplins powertank?

Hello everyone!

Could anyone advise on the suitability of this car jump starter as a powertank for a HEQ5 Pro please?

It's from Maplins. I can't tell you any more than what's on the box. It says its a 12 volt 12 Ah SLA battery. Costs £50.

i think for any kind of guided imaging you would be better off with a leisure battery my friend

Yes, a small leisure battery will be far better than that.  All you really need is a couple of battery clips to a cigarette lighter socket (available with in-line fuse from any good motorist shop) and then something like the SkyTron cable.  If you are within reach of a mains socket then you could use a 240v - 12v auto converter which may also be available from a motorist shop (one with the same cigarette lighter socket, though not essential if you can acquire the correct plug / socket for your mount power cable).

Get a decent car battery charger too, a smart one that will do the job properly.  Those charging plugs are rather rubbish for this kind of job.
