Aligning and Regitering subs of different scale

Hi,

Is there a way of achieving the above without the use of a software like RegiStar? I can do the aligning of R,G and B stacks in PS but I do not know how to compensate for scale or rotation.

I'd really hope so, but i've yet to find a way. I'm getting very close to bite the bullet for registar, just to give my IR-RGB data a try - having no idea how(if?) well it will turn out...

But if it's as good as people say it is, and corrects different size, rotation, crop scale and lens curvature, it might just be worth the money anyway.
