Sky Master 20x80s

Hi folks

A quick query.  I've got a pair of the above celestron sky master 20x80s; water proof, 3.3 degree fov ....  I am aware from other posts that I've read that there are 2 versions of these bins ....  One with Japanese made optics, and another pair that I don't know anything about!     Supposedly, the Japanese optics are the 'better' bins ....  Is there any way that I may have of knowing if my pair contain the Japanese made optics?  I cannot find just at this moment any documentation that I think did come with my bins and there are no definitive markings anyway obvious on my bins ....

I'm only curious really ...  It would be very pleasing to find out that my bins are supposedly 'better' than they could've been, if the Japanese ones really are superior?  But even if they are not the better bins I am still happy with them    I've had them about 7 years ....? 

Any thoughts/opinions would be received with interest, thanks
