TV TRF-2008 & DSLR spacing

hi so ive managed to pick up one a trf-2008, upon some research on the webo there seems to be a mix of information some saying you do need to use spacers just screw it to the t-adaptor and some say you need 55mm form the flange. is any one using this flattner or has done previously with a DSLR. if so how did you use this in conjunction with your scope

I'm not sure about that specific one but I just screwed mine in straight to the t-adaptor on my 450D and never bothered with spacing and it worked just fine for me. But again I have a different one than you. A quick test with it screwed directly in will tell if it works or if you need to dig further for the right spacing. Good luck.

the optimal distance for the sensor is 56mm, luckily this is achieved just by screwing on your T ring, worked for me

You don't need spacers with the TRF-2008 and a Canon dSLR. You need a 48mm spacer for an ATIK CCD camera, but you do not need any for a Canon.
