skywatcher gps mouse, not recognised by hand set

Not too sure if there is a problem or I am just stupid, however, my new mouse arrived this morning and after reading the literature on the web( at £100,you don't get a book of words for it!)I have updated the software on the goto hand set, connected all the leads, and set the power on, the handset shows searching for "gps" and then changes to "No gps attached" any ideas where I am going wrong please, thanks Lum

PROBLEM SOLVED BY MY WIFE, TO WHOME I AM COPPINNG A BUNDLE OF " READ THE INSTRUCTINS " COMMENTS, bit hard when there aren't any!!! but she has got it working, no one will know how hard it is to say that!!! lol thanks Love
