First attempt at astrophotography - Blue Moon pics

Hi all,

So - this is my first ever attempt at any kind of astrophotography!

I took these on Tues 20th, on the night of the Blue Moon.

I used the ubiquitous SkyWatcher Explorer 130p, with EQ-2 mount and my iPhone 4! I then played around with some Instagram app filters on some of these pictures and cropped them on the phone.

I had the Orion SteadyPix iPhone bracket, but I'm having trouble getting the phone correctly aligned with my eyepieces - will start a separate thread on this...

Anyway - hope you like my first noob attempt!

Quite a nice first set of shots. Afocal shots (especially with a phone) are hard

Now how the hell do I get the Orion iPhone bracket to align properly? I just can't get a clear view down the eyepiece with my iPhone camera
