Ninian Boyle Astronomy course

Has anyone taken and completed the 'basic astronomy with a telescope' course from Ninian Boyle. It appears really interesting and for the money, a bargain, provided you learn a lot. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I'd recommend trying local clubs, books and SGL, but appreciate that everyone has different approaches to learning.

Don't know anything about the Ninian Boyle course but I can highly recommend "Understanding the universe with Alex Filippenko" DVD course, especially if you get it on one of the frequent 1/2 price offers.
