When doing wide-field astroimaging with my DSLR, I find it a complete pain in the proverbial trying to get the focus right. I’ve found the only way to be sure is to hook up the camera to a computer for focus control and focus checking using APT. Carrying a laptop around a field can be a pain in the proverbial.

It gives live view, image display, image zoom, and lens focus control all without having to touch the camera or lens.

No more slightly out of focus wide field images (fingers crossed).

Should pop into the photography section we have been playing with it for ages down there..

Watch out for app and os upgrades they can turn a working system into a non working one and it's hard to roll back...
