My first ever Mars...

At last, I've finally got a piece of Mars to my Toucam's chip. . It's been a long wait. The last opposition just missed my 'coming of age' in to webcam astro-photography.

Well here 'tis.. conditions were awfully turbulent even at though it was around 40 degrees up. Wobbling around like mr blobby on steroids I certainly wasn't expecting any detail. Registax was simply magic with this one.

First couple are originals and 2nd couple are one's that I naughtily added a bit more red to it cus my website's heading is going to say 'The Red Planet' (tut tut)

I reckon number 2 pic as it looks a little sharper on the monitor not sure why as you only add a bit of colour for pic 4
