Fantastic detatched prom now 26/7/13

Just had a peek at the sun through the PST and there's an amazing (and very big!) looking detatched prom (looks like a flying saucer hovering over the sun's surface!!) Definately worth checking out if you can!!

Thanks for raising the alarm, I was lucky enough to catch it this morning just before leaving for work. What a detached prom! Best I've seen so far I think, cloudy here but just caught a glimpse during lunch and it's still impressive. Get out and have a look if you can
