advice!!

so this is my first go at dss , i stacked 10 30 sec exposures at iso 400 with my sony cybershot dsc-p100 unfortunatly i had to start with jpeg files any advice much needed!first attempt.TIF

You got a lot going on there, looks really good. You could try to remove the gradient a bit either manually or with some kind of plugin like gradient xterminator. Or you could look into starting to shot flats at some point. You'd have to be careful not to erase the hints of the milky way star could you got there.

Jpegs arent good to shoot with, RAW is where it's at.
