home made tripod for gemini 41 observatory mount

having been looking for a tripod for my mount a gemini 41 (30kg plus!) with gemini s triopod costing 1200 pound!!! a good friend of mine nick busby said he could knock one up!!, so after some initial measurements one week later he came up trumps! material costs were circa 100 pound so some good bottles of wine were order of the day, i think he could do well knocking these out! so in total the tripod has g41 counter weights plus a 10" f15 mak and is rock steady!!! regards stuart
