Guiding

Hi all,

I just bought a 70mm guide scope for my cpc800.

Its currently attached to the scope with my piggy back mount, will this be ok or does it need to be adjustable?

I am using the Meade DSI (original colour) as the guide cam

Thanks

You may find you'll have quite a small FOV as the DSI has a small chip. Despite its sensitivity this may on occasion make it difficult to locate a guide star (a reducer would help). If that's the case i'd suggest 110mm guidescope rings as a solution. I use 125mm guidescope rings on my 70mm and they seem a little large.
