Cleaning secondary mirror

I know that the best advice is DONT, but my new, rather old, 250px really has reached the point (cobwebs as well as dust) of a mirror clean up. I've carefully watched the excellent video from Steppenwolf on the primary mirror, but how about the secondary? Obviously I remove from the scope but how do I immerse just the glass and avoid risk to the suface whilst keep the mounting metalwork and glue away from the liquids? All help and experience very welcome!
