Using a finder with a Skytee 2

Recommended Posts

My main finder is usually the cheap red dot variety.

Recently a got a scope with a 8 x 50 RACI finder and I am now of the opinion that I want both when observing

The RDF to get me into the right area and the other finder to get me spot on.

As I have a Skytee 2, I decided to make an adaptor for the upper mount so I can now have both i.e. rdf on scope and finder on top mount or vice versa.

Very easily constructed using a couple of aluminum plates, the lower one which you can't see is dovetailed, a couple of bolts and a spare shoe.
