June 6, 2013: Fairly quiet sun in H-alpha at lunchtime

Recommended Posts

Our lunchtime session showed only two proms on the western limb, one roughly triangular at 10-11 o'clock, one more like a breaking wave at 8 o'clock. The two most prominent ARs had moved noticeably westward, and no new proms were seen on the east. One very thin, long, sinuous filament was showing around the 4-5 o'clock position on the surface.
