Am in the market for a new camera after breaking my Canon 1100D (which I was planning to use for imaging but never got chanece) during an accident using it as normal, beyond repair

reading a couple of photography magazines during a break at work, I see Canon have released what is supposed to be the smallest and lightest DSLR on the market in the 100D.

Any one tried one out yet, would appreciate some opinions
