Something missing?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I recently acquired a GSO 32mm Camera Project eyepiece (which is very nice, BTW) and the necessary T-mount adapter to fit my Canon 600D DSLR

I set it up for the first time last night, hoping to get some nice shots of the moon. Unfortunately, with the camera attached, I couldn't get it anywhere near focused.

Is there something else I need? A reducer perhaps?

It seems strange to call an eyepiece "Camera Project", but not be able to use it with a camera...

Thanks

I had to look up what afocal imaging is, and I don't think that is what I am trying to do with a DSLR

An extension tube would be too unstable for my linking, with my camera on the end.

So I guess I should try a Barlow...

Thanks for the advice.
