Scorpio wide field shot

Last night using Canon 400D with 18mm F5 at ISO800 for 30 secs, the camera was mounted on my iOpton Smart EQ mount.

I forgot how large and long Scorpio is plus much of it gets hidden by the rich background, so I turned the original RAW image into a negative,

I am still having trouble get the goto set up but the mount is still showing early promise.

Looks good. What is that on the bottom right corner? Have tried to research myself, but new to this and not come up with anything. As its a neg image, is it just a dark empty patch of sky?
