Still hoping I can remote control my (HEQ5 / EQDir / EQMod) scope... with one of these:

No computer at remote - Merely a Posh (powered) USB Hub. Soak test setup: 30m coiled(!)

USB 1.1 only though it reads? Hope it's just the mount you want to run and not a camera

Yes - Only really interested in USB 1.1 - For the mount control.... Possibly a focusser.

The rest is good old 75 Ohm coax for VIDEO Astronomy. Most complainants assume

these things to be (genuinely) USB 2.0 - That they are NOT (usually / mostly)!

(One marvels at the differing claims/costs of the things versus success rate)

Not quite sure how I'm going to work the "remote observatory",
