Retro fitting drives

I'm buying an old(1980's) Vixen Super Polaris mount on an Astro Systems tripod, does anyone here know if it would be possible to retro fit this mount with meade DS motors and auto star? I already have the motors, control panel and autostar handset that were fitted to an EQ3-2 and would like to fit them to the vixen. Any tips or comments greatly appreciated.

I had a similar setup, an EQ5, DS motors and Autostar, it worked fine. You can make your own brackets etc or try from

The hard (well fiddley) part was configuring the Autostar handset to move the mount the correct amount.
