newby need some advise on hd-4110

firstly hello im new to the forum and astrophotography, i have a nexstar 8es and live just outside blackpool uk.

i have just got a hp hd-4110 and done the mod (on youtube) to make it work on the telescope, i tried it two nights ago and all i can see is a mass of light and colours as if it was just to bright and out of focus, problem is i dont know where the setting should be ie. brightness, gain, focus ect. if anybody uses the 4110 or can advise me it would be graet as ive search the internet and been unsuccsessful so far.

please help!!!

what capture software are you using? sharpcap is astro specific and its FREE!!!

i was just trying to use the arcsoftware that came with the camera, i suspect this maybe the problem, i will down load sharpcap and try again. thanks auspom
